By constructing the Maritime-Passenger Terminal in the area of the former “Jadranka” factory, a terminal was built with the capacity to accommodate larger ships, thus meeting the needs of increased traffic. The terminal was built in stages. In the first phase, two berths with lengths of 150 m and 70 m were constructed for domestic ferry traffic, along with the necessary operational waterfront area. In the second phase, a third berth with a length of 130 m were built for coastal ferry traffic. Additionally, the operational waterfront area was further expanded, resulting in a total land area of the port of 18,670 m² and a total sea area of 41,890 m².
